I first led eyes on my fiance when we were waiting in the red light on one road in central London. What made us notice eachother is that we both had the same Alfa Romeo cars. She had it in red and I had it in black. We looked at the car then the driver and we smiled at each other. We shared few more smiles, I certainly thought she was stunning and she obviously thought something of me otherwise she wouldn’t be looking over again and again.

 

I was driving with my friends going to few bars in Covent Garden to enjoy the lovely weather we had that day. The summer of 2007 was brilliant and I was planning to make the most of that day because I had a long week at work. I had it all planned that I will be drinking then parking my car in the hotel nearby and then catch a bus to the apartment. I can always go back to the hotel next day and get the car but that wasn’t to happen as from the traffic light I asked her to take the first left and park as I wanted to talk to her.

 

I wasn’t expecting a yes but what I was shocked about was she did turn left and stopped and there was my chance to ask her out and see how it goes. We had normal hellos and stuff little ice breaker from me to calm the nerves and I was about to ask her out then suddenly she asked “What are you doing this evening?”? I was shocked for few seconds then I replied nothing in front of my friends. We exchanged numbers and met up in the evening, spent few hours wining and dining then I went back to see my friends, now after 3 years the girl from the traffic lights and me are engaged.

 

It was just bound to happen I guess because we have so much in common. We are also big competitiors in our work field as we work for different new cars company. If she told me that on the traffic light I would have just turned right. We are in love with cars and are both big fans of Honda cars. We plan to get married in June 2011, please wish us all the best.
